Introduction

The College of Professional and Continuing Education (CPCE) of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU), through the School of Professional Education and Executive Development (SPEED) and the Hong Kong Community College (HKCC), offers a range of health related programmes at Associate Degree, and Honours Bachelor’s Degree levels. The Academic Discipline of Health and Life Sciences of CPCE is commissioned to organise this Conference with the aim to share scholarly work pertinent to aging, health and long term care.  It also takes the opportunity to promote interdisciplinary education and research on the topics.

 

The Keynote Speech will be delivered by Sir James Mirrlees, Nobel Laureate in Economic Sciences (1996) and Master of Morningside College of The Chinese University of Hong Kong.

 

Speakers for the Plenary Sessions include Prof. Kenneth Lee, CPCE Academic Advisor (Health and Life Sciences) and Professor and Head of Pharmacy, Monash University, Malaysia, and Prof. Peter P. Yuen, Dean of CPCE, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
