The Future Cost of Health and Care

2:15 pm  -  2:45 pm
PolyU Hung Hom Bay Campus

Contrary to common belief, it is likely that future costs of care and medical treatment of the elderly need not rise much, if at all, as a proportion of GDP. But people might well prefer that more of their country’s income be spent on health and care, for the sake of improved quality and length of life. That should not be regretted or resisted.
